40GB Sony PS3 Uses Quieter, Cooler Chipset
Aside from the lower price tag, the new 40GB PS3 has some new hardware features that might just make this the PS3 to own for some of you. What new features? A new motherboard and 65nm Cell that consumes only 135W of power compared to the 200W of the original.
