Powered by 1.5V replaceable batteries (included), which will light the top for more than 12 hours. The 1.5V replaceable batteries can be replaced by standard 1.2V AAA rechargeable batteries. A small switch on the battery box allows to light the fiber on/off. LEDs lifespan: more than 50 000 hrs.
