This is a genuine Irish Bodhrán--pronounced "Bow-rawn"--the traditional percussion instrument used in Gaelic music for centuries.

Handcrafted in Connemara along Ireland's west coast, each unique instrument is made by Malachy Kearns, an artisan with 30 years of experience who operates out of an old Franciscan monastery and who crafted the original River Dance stage drums.
