Dalai Lama Joins Twitter
I am not into the whole signs of the apocalypse thing but I am pretty damn sure this is one of them. At least now you can pretend to be spiritually enlightened and tell people at parties you "follow" the Dalai Lama. Next week, the Pope gets a MySpace page.
The @DalaiLama account is up and running. And, unlike a previous hoax account, this appears to be the real deal. Twitter's new vice president of communications, Sean Garrett, just welcomed the Tibetan spiritual leader to the site.
