Google Logo Celebrates St. Patricks Day 2010

Today’s newest Google Doodle is celebrating St. Patrick’s day and that fact has made the term “St. Patricks Day 2010″ one of the most searched online.

The holiday, which was originally used to honor one of Ireland’s most recognized saint’s, Saint Patrick (circa AD 387–461), would later become a day of feast in the early 1600’s, before eventually being adopted as a secular holiday for celebrating Ireland’s culture in many parts of the world.
