Indestructible Carbon Fiber Wallet
This is the wallet that's 5X stronger than steel, yet 80% lighter. Woven from carbon fiber, the same durable material used in racing yacht sails, the resilient wallet will never stretch, fade, or develop cracks like a leather billfold.
The carbon fiber threads are encased in a flexible resin that's impervious to water and the wallet is sewn using triple-step zigzag stitching to provide additional strength at the seams and prevent unraveling.

60 million Americans don't use the internet
Of the roughly 60 million adult Americans who don't use the internet at all, 47 per cent cited cost and complexity and 45 per cent agreed with the survey statement that "I am worried about all the bad things that can happen if I use the Internet." Thirty-five percent were of the opinion that "There is nothing on the Internet I want to see or use," and one third thought "The Internet is just a waste of time."

Olympic Venues as Seen From Space
The Olympics have been held in some of the most scenic locations on Earth, and this year is no exception. Some of the most breathtaking moments of the games involve details captured in photo finishes in cross country skiing and hooked ski tips leading to crashes in the slalom seen in slow-motion video. All that aside, Vancouver is equally breathtaking from above.

Organovo 3D Printer Prints Human Organs
THE great hope of transplant surgeons is that they will, one day, be able to order replacement body parts on demand. At the moment, a patient may wait months, sometimes years, for an organ from a suitable donor. During that time his condition may worsen. He may even die. The ability to make organs as they are needed would not only relieve suffering but also save lives. And that possibility may be closer with the arrival of the first commercial 3D bio-printer for manufacturing human tissue and organs.
The new machine, which costs around $200,000, has been developed by Organovo, a company in San Diego that specialises in regenerative medicine, and Invetech, an engineering and automation firm in Melbourne, Australia.

Generation Zero the Inconceivable Truth
The current economic crisis is not a failure of capitalism, but a failure of culture. Generation Zero explores the cultural roots of the global financial meltdown - beginning with the narcissism of the 1960's, spreading like a virus through the self-indulgent 90's, and exploding across the world in the present economic cataclysm.
Generation Zero goes beneath the shallow media headlines and talking head sound bites to get to the source of today's economic nightmare. With a cutting edge style and haunting imagery, this must see documentary will change everything you thought you knew about Wall Street and Washington.
Midnight Review | Dante's Inferno (X-Box 360)
Ok, sitting down with this game I had mixed reviews. While in high school I had read the famous book written in the 1300s. I guess if anyone had to make this into a kick ass action game, leave it to the developers at EA to get the job done.
In a style similar to God of War, Dante's Inferno is a hack-n'-slash type game where you play as the title character, Dante, in a journey to through the Nine Levels of Hell to reach your wife. While this game can be a little redundant at some parts, it really keeps you immersed and wanting to play until you just can't take it anymore.
My biggest warning for this game is this is not your little brother's game! This thing is chocked full of nudity, hardcore violence and gore. I am actually surprised that in this day and age the game didn't receive an AO (Adult Only) rating. It makes you wonder what EA had to cut to make it Mature.
The only downside is the game seems like it wont have much replay value to it.
Total Rating: 9.0 out of 10

Console: X-Box 360
Resolution: 1080p
Time to Complete: 7.29 hours
ESRB Rating: M (Mature)

National Tortilla Chip Day
Today is a holiday with a crunch. One might even suggest that it is a corny holiday. Well, that's okay because today is National Tortilla Chip Day. Just a few decades ago, Americans seldom ate Corn Chips and Salsa. It's popularity has grown immensely. Today is a tribute to that rising popularity of one of America's favorite munchies.
The corn chip recipe was brought to the U.S. from Mexico by texas businessman Elmer Doolin.
Dyson DC24 Blueprint Limited Edition
You see that? LIMITED EDITION! Very few people will have the same vacuum experience! I’m always on the go or entertaining various supermodels and industry high-rollers, so I need a vacuum that can be stored easily and get the mess out quickly. They told me the DC24 is better suited to smaller houses, but I scoffed and simply bought one for each room of my palatial estate in the hills.
After all, it’s still got the patented Root Cyclone technology that keeps it from losing suction power. It still steers easier than my Aston Martin. It’s still got a lifetime washable HEPA filter. It even comes with an extra accessory kit. It’s just a little smaller.

Dalai Lama Joins Twitter
I am not into the whole signs of the apocalypse thing but I am pretty damn sure this is one of them. At least now you can pretend to be spiritually enlightened and tell people at parties you "follow" the Dalai Lama. Next week, the Pope gets a MySpace page.
The @DalaiLama account is up and running. And, unlike a previous hoax account, this appears to be the real deal. Twitter's new vice president of communications, Sean Garrett, just welcomed the Tibetan spiritual leader to the site.

We’ve all been there. Someone walks by and you catch a whiff. Maybe it’s Giorgio or Red Door layered on a little too thick…that distinct left-the-bar-at-dawn smell…or pure and simple B.O. It’s off-putting, but thankfully not lingering. Unless you’re sittin’ next to it. On a plane.
So as this story goes, regional airliner Jazz Air out of Canada “deplaned” a man for his “strong body odor”. One passenger on the Feb. 6th flight described the smell as “brutal” according to a cnn.com report.

Typing 'Cadence' Used to Identify Authorized Users
The idea of increasing security by using typing cadence in conjunction with browser information and your IP address seems like a cool idea.
Scout Analytics has developed a way of identifying a user's "typing cadence," and matching it to how a username and password are entered. It only takes 5 login attempts of around 12 characters for Scout to nab your cadence, and although 1 in 20,000 people will share the same cadence, combining the data with browser info and IP addresses makes it accurate enough for general usage.

Named after a lady named Margarita. The original Margarita was invented in 1948 by socialite Margarita Sames. According to the legend it was during a party at her cliffside hacienda in Acapulco that Margarita began experimenting with “the drink”. Looking for something to cut the dust of a hot afternoon, she mixed Tequila Herradura, Cointreau and fresh lime juice. Her cocktail kept the party going for two weeks and today the Margarita is the #1 most popular cocktail in the U.S.

I did appreciate that Tiger Woods asked the press to leave his wife, children and mother alone. He seemed pretty believable in that. However, Gloria Allred, a lawyer who has at least 2 of Tiger Woods' mistresses said that his apology was a "staged public relations stunt."
I think Tiger Woods probably does have real problems. It would be hard not to have problems if you trained like he has to be a top professional. In the end, I hope this will go away, and that Tiger will get the help he needs and get back to playing golf.

Pentagon Looks to Breed Immortal ‘Synthetic Organisms
The Pentagon’s mad science arm may have come up with its most radical project yet. Darpa is looking to re-write the laws of evolution to the military’s advantage, creating “synthetic organisms” that can live forever — or can be killed with the flick of a molecular switch.

The plan would assemble the latest bio-tech knowledge to come up with living, breathing creatures that are genetically engineered to “produce the intended biological effect.” Darpa wants the organisms to be fortified with molecules that bolster cell resistance to death, so that the lab-monsters can “ultimately be programmed to live indefinitely.”

The latest issue of Sports Illustrated dubs Lindsey Vonn as "America's Best Woman Skier Ever." If any controversy were to arise over this issue, you'd think this statement would be the cause. But there's no room for debate, considering Vonn is the first U.S. woman to win back-to-back overall World Cup championships.
Instead, Vonn's pose is creating a stir. It's not difficult to see why:

Google & The NSA
According to the Washington Post, Google is teaming up with the National Security Agency to fend off future Cyberattacks. Google declined to comment as did the NSA.
Under an agreement that is still being finalized, the National Security Agency would help Google analyze a major corporate espionage attack that the firm said originated in China and targeted its computer networks, according to cybersecurity experts familiar with the matter. The objective is to better defend Google -- and its users -- from future attack.

6 Songs Used to Torture & Intimidate
Playing an annoying song over and over to get someone to spill their guts might sound like a gag from a Mel Brooks movie, but it’s actually become a standard practice.
An article by an NYU musicologist in the Journal of the Society for American Music details how music was regularly used in interrogations on bases in Iraq and Afghanistan as a method of inducing disorientation to get suspects to talk without inflicting physical force. Here are some of the songs used by military and law enforcement entities to get their suspects to sing.

1. Bruce Springsteen’s “Born in the USA”
2. Christina Aguilera’s “Dirrty”
3. Nancy Sinatra’s “These Boots Were Made for Walking”
4. AC/DC’s “Shoot to Thrill” and “Hells Bells”
5. Anything by Barry Manilow
6. Barney the Dinosaur’s “I Love You”

2010 Super Bowl Commercials Watch and Download
The Super Bowl, the championship game of the National Football League in the United States, is known for the high-profile advertisements that air during its television broadcast. Prices for advertising space can typically cost millions of dollars; 30 seconds of advertising time during the 2010 telecast is expected to cost US $501.01 million.
The high price tag of the commercials all but promises that they will be spectacular and innovative in most cases. The commercials are often highly anticipated, generating much buzz even before the game is played usually because of their innovation or sense of humor.

Use A Gift Card at Best Buy = Get Arrested
Still hanging on to those gift cards you got at Christmas? You might want to read this story first…unless you like getting arrested, handcuffed, taken downtown and searched.
On top of that, upon my exiting the police station finally after being released, ANOTHER young guy around my age was brought in from the very SAME Best Buy for THE EXACT SAME REASON - trying to make a purchase with a gift card, the only difference being that his gift cards were Master Cards.
Wisdom | Andrew Zuckerman
This book and DVD have interviews with 50 global luminaries over the age of 65 who provide insight into what it means to love, work, and live in harmony. Inspired by the notion that the greatest gift one generation can give another is wisdom, the book and DVD relate the life experiences and knowledge gained by elder statesmen like Edward "Ted" Kennedy and Nelson Mandela, spiritual leaders like the Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu, and entertainers such as Robert Redford and David Brubeck.
Bits of wisdom include Clint Eastwood's suggestion to, "Take your profession seriously; don't take yourself seriously," and Judi Dench's advice that, "The key to a good relationship is absolutely, undoubtedly: don't take the person for granted."

Facebook Doppelganger Week Violates Terms of Service
That whole "Doppelganger Week" thing going around Facebook right now could actually be a violation of the site’s terms of service agreement. Don't be sad, it’s probably for the best anyway. Trust me, have you seen some of the celebrities your friends think they look like?
The catch is, putting up a celebrity photo on your Facebook profile may not actually be kosher. In the company's terms of service, it says: "You will not post content or take any action on Facebook that infringes or violates someone else's rights or otherwise violates the law...We can remove any content or information you post on Facebook if we believe that it violates this Statement." So unless you took that celebrity photo yourself or bought the rights to it, it may be in violation.
Why 'Avatar' is Actually the 26th Biggest Movie
Yet one respect in which boxoffice reporting is pretty odd -- emphasizing ticket grosses yet rarely mentioning ticket sales. That would be like always reporting how many ad dollars sold off "Lost" and not mentioning the number of viewers that actually watched the show.
With everybody reporting how "Avatar" is The Biggest Movie of All Time based on grosses ($1.859 billion and counting), it's important to remember how rising ticket prices skew the returns.

Here's the Top 20 movies of all time ... by number of tickets sold:
1 "Gone With the Wind" (1939) 202,044,600
2 "Star Wars" (1977) 178,119,600
3 "The Sound of Music" (1965) 142,415,400
4 "E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial" (1982) 141,854,300
5 "The Ten Commandments" (1956) 131,000,000
6 "Titanic" (1997) 128,345,900
7 "Jaws" (1975) 128,078,800
8 "Doctor Zhivago" (1965) 124,135,500
9 "The Exorcist" (1973) 110,568,700
10 "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" (1937) 109,000,000
11 "101 Dalmatians" (1961) 99,917,300
12 "The Empire Strikes Back" (1980) 98,180,600
13 "Ben-Hur" (1959) 98,000,000
14 "Return of the Jedi" (1983) 94,059,400
15 "The Sting" (1973) 89,142,900
16 "Raiders of the Lost Ark" (1981) 88,141,900
17 "Jurassic Park" (1993) 86,205,800
18 "The Graduate" (1967) 85,571,400
19 "Star Wars: Episode I" (1999) 84,825,800
20 "Fantasia" (1941) 83,043,500
"Avatar," despite topping the worldwide gross list, by and by, is only No. 26 on the ticket sales list with 76,421,000 sold ... at least, so far...

Swiss Millionaire Hit by Record Speed Fine

Groundhog Day 2010 - Punxsutawney Phil
The legend of Groundhog Day is based on an old Scottish couplet: "If Candlemas Day is bright and clear, there'll be two winters in the year." Every February 2, people gather at Gobbler's Knob, a wooded knoll just outside of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. Residents contend that the groundhog has never been wrong.
The ceremony in Punxsutawney was held in secret until 1966, and only Phil's prediction was revealed to the public. Since then, Phil's fearless forecast has been a national media event.
If Punxsutawney Phil sees his shadow, it means six more weeks of winter. If he does not see his shadow, it means spring is just around the corner. Approximately 90% of the time, Phil sees his shadow.
