One of the most common questions I see about Google is “How do I clear my search history from the Google search box?” What’s everybody guilty of :)? If you’re one of the many it seems that have search terms you’d prefer to hide from other users of your computer, this article is for you.

How to enable/disable or clear "Google Search History" IE7

1) Open " Internet Explorer " 7

2) Click on the "Tools" menu in Internet Explorer 7 ( IE )

How to enable/disable or clear "Google Search History" IE6

1) Open " Internet Explorer " 6

2) Click on the "Tools" menu in Internet Explorer ( IE )









3)From the "Tools Menu" Click on Internet Options














4) In the corresponding Dialogue Box click on Content


































5)Click on Auto Complete from this menu you will be able to set up auto complete for web addresses forms and password information.

























Here you will also be able to clear autocomplete history for security reasons. The above dialogue box also allows you to clear google history and permanently disable autocomplete history.

Note: When using a public computer we recommend clearing auto complete after every use, as it may contain your private and personal information.
